Component description

Elasticsearch is a search engine based on the Lucene library. It provides a distributed, multitenant-capable full-text search engine with an HTTP web interface and schema-free JSON documents. The Amazon Elasticsearch Service is a service that makes it easy for you to deploy, secure, and run Elasticsearch cost effectively at scale. AWS provides Open Distro for Elasticsearch.

Please note AWS provides Open Distro for Elasticsearch https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/opensource/stepping-up-for-a-truly-open-source-elasticsearch/. In order to use your external tools like logstash to import your data, you need to use oss versions like https://www.elastic.co/downloads/logstash-oss.
